The Silver Gray features a four-hole structure in the middle cup, designed to reduce weight while optimizing the balance and durability of the ken. The arched shaping around the middle cup also helps reduce weight and provides useful finger contact for flips and juggling.

Its balance is particularly well suited to lunar tricks, juggling, flips, and stall-based play. The smooth matte grip coating provides controlled contact with the tama, while the carefully adjusted connection between the tama and sarado contributes to a clear, crisp sound.
