The Harmony Series

Harmony is an original Knotaworks kendama holder series created to explore the beauty of combining different colours and types of leather.

This Orange × Tan version combines a warm orange with tan natural leather, creating a cheerful yet sophisticated look. The colours shown in the photographs are for reference only, as the appearance of natural leather can vary depending on lighting, display and the individual character of each piece.

Completely Handmade by Knotaworks

Every Harmony kendama holder is completely handmade by Kei of Knotaworks.

From selecting the leather and developing the original design to cutting, assembling, crafting and finishing, every step is carried out by Kei.

Because natural leather is used, no two pieces are exactly alike. Natural variations such as marks, scratches, grain patterns and subtle differences in colour are part of the character of the material.

Rather than treating these differences as imperfections, we invite you to enjoy them as part of what makes your holder uniquely yours.

Designed to Age with You

Both the leather and metal fittings are made from materials that develop character over time.

With everyday use, the leather will gradually soften and become more familiar to the shape of your kendama. Its colour and texture may also deepen and change naturally over time.

Exposure to everyday conditions such as sunlight and moisture can also affect the colour and appearance of natural leather. Please enjoy these changes as part of the ageing process of a handmade leather product, while taking care to avoid unnecessary exposure to water.

Secure Kendama Holder

The holder is designed with a practical snap-button mechanism.

Release the snap button to open one side of the leather strap, then insert your kendama and fasten the snap button again. Pulling the leather strap down helps hold the kendama securely in place, reducing the chance of the kendama slipping out of the holder.

As the leather softens with use, the holder gradually becomes more familiar and comfortable with your own kendama.

An S-shaped carabiner is used to attach the holder, and the hook can be replaced if needed. This allows you to continue using the holder for a long time.

Limited Availability

The leather used for Knotaworks products depends on the availability of suitable materials.

For this reason, all Knotaworks leather products listed in our shop are limited to available stock. Once a particular piece or colour combination sells out, it is highly likely that it will be discontinued and may not be reproduced.

Each Harmony holder is therefore a small-batch, handmade piece with its own combination of leather, colour and character.
