This neck strap is made from Natural Vegetable Tanned Leather in its natural, undyed colour. Its simple design allows the beauty of the leather itself to take centre stage.

Completely Handmade by Knotaworks

Every neck strap is completely handmade by Kei of Knotaworks.

From selecting the leather and developing the original design to cutting, assembling, crafting and finishing, every step is carried out by Kei.

Because natural leather is used, each piece has its own individual character. Natural variations in grain, texture, marks and colour are part of the beauty of the material.

Made to Age with You

Natural vegetable-tanned leather is a firm and durable material, so it may feel somewhat stiff when new.

With continued use, however, the leather gradually softens and becomes more comfortable and familiar.

The natural, undyed colour of vegetable-tanned leather also makes its ageing process especially visible. As you use the strap, the leather gradually develops a deeper and richer colour and a unique character of its own.

Versatile Everyday Use

The neck strap comes with a double S-hook, making it easy to attach and remove accessories.

It can be used with a Knotaworks leather kendama holder, allowing you to carry your kendama around your neck, or with other small accessories that you would like to keep close at hand.

The S-hook can also be replaced, allowing you to continue using the strap with different accessories over time.

Natural Leather

The colour shown in the photographs is for reference only. Natural leather can vary in colour, grain and texture, and each piece has its own individual character.

The leather will naturally change with use and exposure to everyday conditions. Please enjoy this gradual transformation as part of the ageing process of natural vegetable-tanned leather, while taking care to avoid unnecessary exposure to water.

The leather used for Knotaworks products depends on the availability of suitable materials.

For this reason, all Knotaworks leather products listed in our shop are limited to available stock. Once a particular piece sells out, it is highly likely that it will be discontinued and may not be reproduced.

Each neck strap is therefore a small-batch, completely handmade piece that will gradually develop its own unique character with you.
